  • Overview

    The A&D Consultant is responsible for all activities related to sharing product knowledge, brand exposure, generation of specifications &  sales closure through a framework of both specified and unspecified projects. Develops and implements an approved marketing and branding plan, which will meet both personal and business goals. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals, in-line with the company vision and values.


    • Maintain the highest level of product and technical knowledge
    • Identify top commercial based architectural firms in the geographic market; develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to create and secure regional and national specifications for company products
    • Track commercial projects from specification through to completion
    • Provide continuing education to A+D professionals through product updates and presentations
    • Prospect for both specified and unspecified projects to ensure a growing pipeline
    • Utilize CRM to track potential and upcoming projects. Maintain accurate and comprehensive account list; update daily activities and campaigns
    • Create and maintain a strong harmony within the regional commercial team and HQ Coordinator
    • Facilitate frequent job tracking meetings with the regional commercial team and HQ Coordinator
    • Maintain all reporting mechanisms including CRM & expense reporting
    • Plan and participate in local events and associations monthly meetings
    • Responsible for communicating market trends and shifts to Director of A+D channel
    • Other duties as required by the Regional Sales Manager and Director of A+D channel



    Three (3) plus years of sales or industry experience within the A&D community


    Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field

    • Highly organized with ability to multi-task
    • Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills
    • Exercises independent judgment and initiative
    • Effective negotiating skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM systems

    Work Requirements

    • Some travel
    • Some events will be held in the evenings and/or require weekend travel
    • Valid driver’s license
