    SUMMARY

     

    The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire IT Department and ensuring that our company’s network, hardware and software is aligned with our goals and objectives and runs reliably and efficiently. You will work closely with the US senior leadership team and the Global technology team to drive solutions for the technology needs of the company.  The role will directly manage the information technology department of three IT professionals and support approximately 300 users across the US organization. 

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategy & Execution

    ·         Develop local INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY strategy in-line with global IT strategy and direction

    ·         Support optimization of customer experience and entity profitability through technology offerings

    ·         Collaborate with business departments to align the IT systems to their requirements

    ·         Designs and implements Disaster Recovery plan and routine backup processes

    ·         Oversee entire IT department, including infrastructure and applications

    ·         Help to prioritize short and long-term objectives

    ·         Optimize vendor relationships and maximize efficiency of IT spend

     

    Network/Security

    ·         Designs and implements networking and internet data lines for headquarters and all US regions

    ·         Maintains internal domain network; creates and manages domain user accounts

    ·         Work efficiently in a cloud environment

    ·         Monitor security risk and implement measures accordingly, in line with corporate security policies

    ·         Manages and maintains corporate anti-virus applications and system updates

    ·         Manage Firewall and security controls

    ·         Create, implement and manage anti-spam filters

    ·         Creates security thresholds, permissions and accesses to shared folders

     

    Hardware/Software

    ·         Oversee hardware and software maintenance and refresh cycles

    ·         Provide Tier 2 tech support

    ·         Manage the organization’s data centers

    ·         Maintain physical and virtual servers, machines, etc.

    ·         Troubleshoots and manages Citrix servers and applications

    ·         Maintains SharePoint servers and hosting environment

    ·         Manages physical and virtual server operating system patching and updates

    ·         Manages local Multiprotocol Label Switching

    ·         Administers and maintains barcode scanners and wireless access points across all distribution centers

     

    Projects

    ·         Plans, manages, and implements regional IT projects while supporting global projects

    ·         Manage and oversee all stages of the development lifecycle for new projects

    ·         Liaise between business users and IT leadership to understand technology needs to optimize upgrade, development and implementation cycle

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·         Assists team with other IT functions and duties as needed

    ·         Leads and directs the work of others

    ·         Directs and prioritizes the workload of IT Specialists

     

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science or related IT field preferred)
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology field within a global/multinational business environment, public company experience preferred
    • Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, is a plus
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership or management in an IT setting
    • Experience with software implementation – integration of ancillary systems to an ERP environment (eg. Avalara, Cilio)
    • Working knowledge of CRM environment (Salesforce) and related interconnectivity of CRM systems to ERP platforms
    • Significant experience in all phases of hardware/software development lifecycle
    • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
    • Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats
    • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to foresee possible issues and troubleshoot them proactively
