  • Overview


    The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accounts payable activities in a high volume energized environment. The main responsibility will be to process invoices to ensure day-to-day payment obligations are met in a timely and consistent manner. The AP Specialist must express a high level of problem solving ability along with critical thinking in their day to day processing. The A/P specialist must be able to interact effectively with other departments and vendors daily.



    • Process various types of accounts payable transactions including data entry of vendor invoices, expense reports, manual check requests
    • Analyzes accounts and prepares monthly reconciliation of subsidiary accounts to general ledger
    • Engage with various departments to ensure completed services are recorded timely to AP
    • Assist other department members and vendors with A/P issues as they arise
    • Book cut off accruals to the General Ledger accurately and timely after AP close
    • Assist general ledger accountants with A/P questions
    • Reconcile cash module to GL monthly
    • Continual process improvement

    • Three (3) plus years of AP or GL experience
    • High school diploma; minimum of an Associate degree preferred
    • Experience with a major ERP required, Oracle strongly preferred
    • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to handle interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Works well in a team environment with a diverse group of people
    • Ability and willingness to work overtime and some weekends
